Key Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure & Support

Deploy and manage secure, scalable warehouse network infrastructure

Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks

Ensure continuous connectivity across desktops, mobile devices, and IoT equipment
Warehouse IT Operations & Optimization
-
Support layout optimization in collaboration with warehouse managers to improve operational efficiency

Analyze and streamline inventory movement and identify process bottlenecks
-
Assist in inventory tracking and management system improvements
IoT Device Management
-
Deploy and configure IoT devices (e.g., RFID tags, sensors, cameras, scales) to enhance warehouse automation
-
Monitor IoT systems for data accuracy and operational performance

Use IoT insights to support data-driven warehouse improvements
Collaboration & Project Leadership

Partner with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with operational goals

Help manage project timelines, technical documentation, and progress updates

Train warehouse staff on inventory systems and automation technologies
Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
-
Expertise in configuring and managing network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
-
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, and routing protocols
-
Experience deploying wireless networks in large warehouse environments
-
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics software integration
-
Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced setting
-
Physical ability and willingness to assist with occasional warehouse tasks (e.g., bay doors, moving pallets)
Preferred:
-
Certification in CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
-
Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or military environments
-
Experience with edge computing or IoT device deployments in logistics settings
-
Familiarity with ERP systems and lean warehouse practices
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
-
Minimum 3 years of IT administration experience, ideally in a warehouse or logistics setting

Proven experience with network troubleshooting and system optimization
-
Experience leading or supporting cross-functional teams on technical projects
