Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Value Based Care Customer Service Representative to join our team. The primary responsibility is to answer incoming calls from providers, health plans, and members regarding eligibility, benefits, claims, coverage, and service authorizations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience in a call center or healthcare environment, and be capable of remote work in a quiet setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls using an ACD phone systemÂ
- Retrieve and respond to voice messagesÂ
- Provide accurate information regarding eligibility, benefits, claims, and referral status
- Assist providers in resolving inquiries related to claims, authorizations, and eligibilityÂ
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and billing forms, including CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, HCFA1500, and UB04.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a reliable and quiet work environment.
Education and Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or healthcare environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience working remotely is a plus.
