Job Summary:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking experienced Ultrasound Technologists to join a healthcare facility dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient care across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. Under minimal supervision, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, contribute to patient diagnoses, and ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

Job Summary:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking experienced Ultrasound Technologists to join a healthcare facility dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient care across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. Under minimal supervision, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, contribute to patient diagnoses, and ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and evaluate various vascular ultrasound procedures, maintaining the highest standards set by the Imaging department.
- Produce accurate and undistorted images following established protocols, identifying and visualizing required anatomy, measurements, and appropriately labeling structures.
- Accurately document patient information, test results, and relevant measurements.
- Recognize and report normal and abnormal vascular anatomy and physiology, following established procedures for reporting critical values and abnormal findings.
- Utilize imaging techniques such as 2D, M-Mode, color flow, and Doppler as needed.
- Ensure accurate patient information on requests and reports.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and department supplies, organizing the work area effectively.
- Provide immediate communication to physicians regarding abnormal patient findings.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited program for Ultrasonography.
- Certifications: Active ARDMS or ARRT registration required. Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year as an ultrasonographer preferred. Experience with Nuchal Translucency (NT) is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Soft Skills: Ability to collaborate with team members and consultants, work independently, and adapt to complex, matrixed environments.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
