Job Title: Clinical Recruiter – Hospice Healthcare
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $32–$43/hour
Schedule: Primarily supporting Central Time Zone hours; flexibility to support additional U.S. time zones as needed
Work Arrangement: Fully Remote
Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a driven and highly motivated Clinical Recruiter to support a fast-growing healthcare organization focused on hospice and clinical hiring initiatives. This role is ideal for a recruiter who brings a strong sales mentality, thrives in high-volume environments, and understands that recruiting requires urgency, persistence, relationship building, and ownership.
This opportunity is designed for recruiters who are energized by outbound activity, proactive sourcing, and building talent pipelines from the ground up. The ideal candidate is metrics-driven, highly competitive, and comfortable engaging passive candidates while partnering closely with hiring leaders to drive hiring success.
Candidates must possess strong sourcing capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to full-cycle recruiting.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical healthcare and hospice-related positions
- Partner with hiring leaders to understand staffing priorities and hiring goals
- Conduct phone screens and candidate interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and overall fit
- Drive urgency throughout the hiring process to improve speed-to-fill and hiring outcomes
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Sourcing & Candidate Generation
- Execute high-volume outbound recruiting efforts through calls, texting, networking, referrals, email outreach, and social recruiting
- Build candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing and relationship management strategies
- Identify, engage, and recruit passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques
- Utilize sourcing channels including:
- Healthcare networking communities
- Social media recruiting
- Referral campaigns
- Job fairs and recruiting events
- Grassroots outreach initiatives
- Develop and maintain long-term candidate pipelines and referral networks
Recruitment Strategy & Relationship Management
- Act as both recruiter and talent ambassador by effectively presenting opportunities and generating candidate interest
- Build strong relationships with candidates and hiring leaders
- Overcome objections and maintain engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Collaborate with leadership to deliver qualified talent efficiently
Metrics, Reporting & ATS Management
- Track recruiting KPIs and activity metrics within a highly performance-driven environment
- Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and recruiting activity documentation within iCIMS ATS
- Consistently manage recruiting performance metrics and hiring goals
- Support process improvements and recruitment effectiveness initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience
- Minimum 2 years of clinical healthcare recruiting experience
- Healthcare recruiting experience required
- Hospice recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Sales recruitment experience required
- Strong sourcing and pipeline generation experience required
- Experience recruiting with limited applicant flow and passive candidate outreach
- Comfortable conducting high-volume outbound recruiting activity
- Strong experience cold calling and engaging passive candidates
- Experience working in a highly metrics-driven environment
- Experience partnering with hiring leaders and stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, persistent, and results-driven mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience using iCIMS ATS strongly preferred
- Experience supporting hospice or post-acute healthcare environments preferred
