Job Description
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Surgical Recruiter with a leading surgical center client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical/RN recruiting, with a proven track record of sourcing and managing a high volume req load. This is a hybrid role with minimal traveling to hiring events within the Phoenix market.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates recruitment efforts for assigned hospitals and service line vacancies to attract qualified candidates to fill openings within an appropriate timeframe.
- Maintains Applicant Tracking System and postings to ensure SEO and JD attract qualified applicants
- Mines Candidates through ATS and weekly reports
- Sources passive candidates through LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed and Taleo/My HR Oracle
- Monitors and updates the list of vacant positions for Hiring leaders weekly
- Maintains ongoing communication with Department Managers and Directors to ensure the accuracy of open positions and alignment with CL and OT.
- Rounding in facilities using Intake guides and SLA's to understand the unique culture and fit necessary to staff units
- Develops the strategy to include media recommendations, niche sites and conferences to develop a pipeline
- Reviews and screens applications including internal transfers for min qualifications, salary discovery and cultural fit
- Calculates salary, presents and negotiates offers
- ERP Promotion on units and within the facility to engage current employees and identify passive candidates
- Teaches Selecting Talent Training and Refresher for Managers twice a year
- Serves as ambassador by attending community events, job fairs, and school fairs
- Revisions to the job description, accountabilities, and measures may be required due to patient care needs and/or efficient operation of the Hospital. You will be advised in writing of any changes. It is also understood that the job description is not all-inclusive and you may be required to perform other related duties.
- Three plus years experience in a hospital-based HR; RN Recruiting Experience Preferred
- Experience with an ATS
- Ability to manager 80+ requisitions
- Strong internet recruiting skills Client Management Skills
- Ability to work independently Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proficiency in MS Windows environment, excel, and word
- Multi-tasked oriented;
- Ability to adhere to deadlines,
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
