Job Description
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring for our clients’ expanding firm as a Senior Accountant that is CPA Eligible for their Dallas location. This position reports directly to the Controller and will interact closely with the managing partners. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, cash management, and various other accounting functions. This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of a growing financial team in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Summary:
- Prepares financial statements to summarize and forecast the company’s financial status.
- Produces and manages balance sheets and analyzes future earnings and expenses.
- Assists with management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization.
- Assists with preparations for audits.
- Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.
- Ensures compliance with and prepares reports according to applicable government regulations.
- Uses accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports.
- Delegates accounting tasks to junior accounting staff.
- Coordinates with and prepares reports for the Controller and upper management.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Education, Experience:
Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA certification preferred - CPA or CPA eligible required
- 2-3 + years full cycle accounting experience in a corporate or law firm environment
- The position is 100% onsite in North Dallas
- Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Excel is Required
