Job Description
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced IT Service Management (ITSM) Project Manager to oversee the implementation of ServiceNow platform within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, IT service management practices, and extensive experience with ServiceNow implementations. This role will involve coordinating various stakeholders, managing project timelines and resources, and ensuring successful deployment of ServiceNow to meet the organization's IT service needs.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for the ServiceNow implementation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Identify and allocate resources required for the project.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and business units to gather requirements and align project objectives with organizational goals.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure alignment and engagement across stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation of ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, etc.
- Work closely with ServiceNow architects, developers, and administrators to configure and customize the platform to meet business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and ITIL framework throughout the implementation process.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and oversee the rollout of ServiceNow features and functionalities.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to the project and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and user expectations.
- Implement effective change control processes to minimize disruption to IT services during the implementation phase.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management with a focus on ITSM implementations.
- Strong understanding of IT service management principles, processes, and best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform, including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL 4 Framework preferred
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and certification is a plus.
