Job Description

Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Senior Workday Business Solutions Architect with a home health client based in Dallas, TX. The Senior Business Solutions Architect will serve as a senior technical expert responsible for the configuration, development, and support of HR competencies including HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Financial Management (Projects, Project Billing, Expenses), along with integrations between systems. They will provide technical consultation to Business Solutions Architects and work with Business Analysts and Business Process Owners on proposed solutions to solve business requirements.

Senior Workday Business Solutions Architect Job Responsibilities:
  • Mentor Sr. and Jr. Business Solutions Architects and advise on work content
  • Consult with Business Analysts as they develop business requirements including both business process and business rules governing data management, interfaces and integrations
  • Responsible for HR system configuration including modules updates, business process/workflow setup and modification, security, etc. as determined by business requirements. Develops, reviews and updates technical documentation in the event of changes or new implementation
  • Accountable for all systems integrations, service level agreements and modifications of assigned applications
  • Perform thorough problem analysis, including problem re-creation, resulting in resolution. Troubleshoots system and integration issues by identifying root cause and implements/oversees required correction to prevent recurrence. Update’s system documentation as necessary to include changes to system configuration
  • Assist with application support, analysis and training as needed
Senior Workday Business Solutions Architect Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 or more years of experience (minimum 3 years Workday experience)
  • Experience with Workday Studio required
  • Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of internal customers
  • Demonstrated experience in innovating and developing corporate HR and Finance solutions
  • Advanced analytical skills – both technical and non-technical in nature
  • Able to Mentor others to expand their technical knowledge through leading by example, problem-solving, prioritization and decision-making
  • Understanding of full Workday Application Portfolio
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday modules: HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Performance and Succession Planning
  • Excellent working knowledge of HR/Payroll concepts, practices, procedures, and ability to apply in varied situations
  • Advanced Integration and Configuration experience
  • Experience with Workday Studio Development Environment a plus
  • Excellent writing skills utilizing IT best practices for requirements analysis, product testing, training and project management
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum Methodology
  • Excellent problem solving and task analysis skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills – must be able to tailor the message to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with competing priorities
  • Possesses a responsible, meticulous, results driven work ethic
  • Ability to maintain composure in addressing stressful and challenging situations
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of computers and software programs including intermediate understanding of MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot systems issues and provide solutions
