Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Senior Oracle Payroll Tax Analyst in Frisco, TX. The Senior Oracle Payroll Tax Analyst will assist the company in evaluating configuration and testing of the set-up of payroll tax related matters in conversion from legacy system to Oracle HCM Cloud and related interfaces to ADP Smart Compliance. This is an ONSITE position.

Job Description
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Senior Oracle Payroll Tax Analyst in Frisco, TX. The Senior Oracle Payroll Tax Analyst will assist the company in evaluating configuration and testing of the set-up of payroll tax related matters in conversion from legacy system to Oracle HCM Cloud and related interfaces to ADP Smart Compliance. This is an ONSITE position.
Senior Payroll Tax Analyst Responsibilities:
- Assisting in testing of employee payroll tax deductions during payroll parallel testing events
- Assisting in testing of employer payroll tax calculations by FEIN for federal, state and local jurisdictions during payroll parallel testing events
- Assisting in testing tax and garnishment related interfaces with between Oracle HCM Cloud and ADP Assisting in testing payroll tax matters impacting general ledger interfaces
- Assist in post go-live support related to payroll tax matters
- Supplement team as needed in assistance with payroll notices, new account set-ups and research of payroll tax related matters
- Enter changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers as part of managing payroll records
- Report changes where necessary after maintaining payroll operations via company policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as necessary
- Expertise in federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
- 5+ years progressive experience focusing on mutli-state payroll tax matters
- Experience in ADP Smart Compliance preferred
- Experience in Oracle HCM Cloud REQUIRED
- Previous experience using accounting software
- Moderate Excel Skills required
- Navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience desired
- General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred
- Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Knowledge of internal controls
- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen
