The ideal candidate will be an experienced Radiologic Technologist skilled in multiple imaging modalities, including CT and Mammography, with a strong background in acute care hospital settings.
Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiology, CT, and/or mammography procedures following established protocols and safety standards.

Apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes while maintaining patient safety and quality of care.

Prepare and operate imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency during exams.

Assist physicians with interventional procedures and contrast media administration.

Provide high-quality patient care across all age groups.
-
Maintain accurate documentation, patient records, and supply usage.

Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, DHS, MQSA, etc.).

Support departmental quality assurance, process improvement, and training initiatives.

Serve as a resource and mentor for technologists and support staff.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience across multiple imaging modalities (CT, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, etc.) preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
-
Active California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
-
ARRT certification and registration.
-
CT and Mammography advanced certifications (required).

Fluoroscopy permit (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).

BLS certification (American Heart Association).
-
Venipuncture certification if performing contrast injections.
