Clinical Education – Registered Nurse
Location: Natick, MA
Position Type: Full-Time (FT)
Shift Availability: Days
Compensation: $39 - $61/hr (Depending on Experience)
Sign-On Bonus/Relocation: Available
Position Overview:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a dedicated Clinical Educator – Registered Nurse to join the largest community healthcare system between Worcester and Boston. This 307-bed regional facility is renowned for its commitment to high-quality, comprehensive patient care and was named to the 2019 America’s 100 Best Hospitals List by Healthgrades. The Clinical Educator will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing educational programs that support clinical excellence and staff competency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and staff to assess, plan, develop, and evaluate educational programs.
- Support orientation and continuing education for nursing and non-nursing personnel.
- Consult on performance improvement initiatives and participate in relevant organizational committees.
- Ensure educational programs align with nursing and regulatory standards and apply adult learning principles.
- Mentor nursing staff, support nurse residency programs, and lead preceptor development.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement projects, including overseeing initiatives related to crash carts, moderate sedation, orthopedic programs, and management of malignant hyperthermia.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in nursing or a related field.
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience, including at least two years in a specialized area.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
- Experience in Teaching: Demonstrated experience in educational processes and adult learning methodologies.
Physical Demands:
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/position up to 25 lbs, push/pull up to 25 lbs of force. Frequent sitting, moderate standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and bending. Requires manual dexterity, mobility, and perceptive acuity (vision and hearing) to fulfill job duties effectively.
- Working Conditions: May encounter occasional pressure due to project deadlines, calls, and class schedules.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
