Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Treasury Analyst for a hybrid opportunity with a leading capital provider in the real estate lending space. This role is based in Tampa, FL, with an in-office schedule of Tuesday–Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
We’re seeking candidates with at least 4 years of experience in Treasury, Accounting, or Finance, ideally within the business-purpose residential lending, real estate, mortgage banking (non-government), or asset management sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare trade documents and settlement statements for individual loan trades.

Coordinate and execute funding activities while validating data with debt providers.

Monitor revolving securitization concentration limits and daily cash positions.

Track loan activity including draws, repayments, write-offs, and adjustments.

Reconcile trial balances and third-party servicing reports at the loan level.

Onboard new loans to servicing platforms and ensure cross-system data accuracy.

Calculate and reconcile accrued interest on financial instruments.

Verify accuracy of loan activity data from third-party records.

Analyze raw data, identify inconsistencies, and correct discrepancies.

Perform ad hoc financial analysis on transaction history and forecasts.
Requirements
-
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Accounting, or Finance.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).

Prior experience in real estate, mortgage banking (non-agency), or asset management.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Strong data reconciliation and financial analysis skills.

Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Must be able to work onsite in Tampa three days per week.

Must be able to pass background and credit checks.
