Position Summary
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Licensure & Regulatory Affairs Manager to support a multi-state healthcare organization’s legal and regulatory operations. This role is responsible for managing hospital licensure, regulatory filings, and corporate records while ensuring ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations.
The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, experience in healthcare regulatory environments, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, submit, and maintain hospital licensure and regulatory filings with state agencies, Medicare, Medicaid, Boards of Pharmacy, CLIA, DEA, and other regulatory bodies.

Maintain corporate and regulatory records for the organization and affiliated entities across multiple states.

Track, calendar, and manage deadlines for:

Licenses and permits
-
Annual reports
-
Regulatory and compliance filings
-

Assist with preparation and submission of documentation related to audits and regulatory reviews.

Support legal due diligence activities for acquisitions, divestitures, and other business transactions.

Create, organize, and maintain electronic databases and document repositories related to regulatory compliance.

Provide documentation and support to internal stakeholders, auditors, and external partners as needed.

Research and monitor state and federal regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.

Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by the Chief Legal Officer.
Education & Experience Requirements
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal, regulatory, or compliance role within a healthcare environment.
-
Demonstrated experience with hospital licensure and regulatory filings.
-
Paralegal Certificate preferred.
-
Experience supporting multi-state healthcare operations strongly preferred.
