Graphic Designer
Location: Chicago, IL
Employment Type: 3-Month Contract
Pay: $28.00/hour
Schedule: Hybrid – In-office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Graphic Designer on behalf of our not-for-profit client in Chicago, IL. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, imaginative, and collaborative creative team. The Graphic Designer will work closely with marketing and creative staff to develop brand-consistent visuals that engage audiences across a wide range of media platforms.
What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, and designers to conceptualize, develop, and produce impactful print and digital assets

  • Support the creation of:

    • Meeting programs, theme designs, and promotional materials

    • Onsite signage, social media content, banner ads, infographics, and video elements

    • Logos, publications (print/electronic), mobile applications, websites, and interactive campaigns

  • Stay informed about trends, tools, and best practices in graphic design to continually improve and innovate

  • You’re highly skilled in layout, typography, and visual design

  • You excel under pressure, are organized, and meet tight deadlines

  • You can follow creative direction and work in a variety of visual styles

  • You take feedback well and adapt designs accordingly
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
