Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Center Directors to join a growing healthcare organization across multiple Florida locations. These roles focus on delivering high-quality rehabilitation services with an emphasis on occupational health, injury recovery, and return-to-work outcomes.
The Center Director role includes clinical leadership responsibilities, while the Physical Therapist role focuses primarily on direct patient care. Both positions support patient recovery through evidence-based treatment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered care.

Primary Responsibilities
Patient Care & Rehabilitation

Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
-
Focus on occupational and non-occupational orthopedic rehabilitation
-
Support early intervention and same-day evaluations when appropriate
-
Deliver exceptional patient care and ensure positive patient outcomes
-
Maintain accurate documentation and appropriate coding per clinical standards
Clinical Operations & Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with state practice acts, regulatory requirements, and clinical policies
-
Promote patient safety, quality care, and operational excellence
-
Maintain productivity, scheduling, and patient flow standards
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and leadership
-
Foster strong relationships with referral sources, employers, and care teams
Center Director Responsibilities (When Applicable)

Lead and supervise therapy staff within the clinic
-
Manage clinical quality, patient outcomes, and performance metrics
-
Ensure adherence to clinical workflows and best practices
-
Support staff development, mentoring, and performance management
-
Monitor operational and financial performance metrics
-
Promote a collaborative, patient-focused work environment
-
Support staffing, scheduling, and clinical efficiency
-
Participate in leadership meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy
-
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
-
Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain)
-

Strong knowledge of orthopedic and occupational health rehabilitation

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage confidential information in compliance with HIPAA

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team-based environments
Preferred Qualifications

Prior leadership or supervisory experience (for Center Director roles)

Experience in occupational medicine or outpatient rehabilitation

Strong organizational and clinical decision-making skills

Ability to manage workflows, patient outcomes, and performance metrics
