Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite | Monday–Friday
Salary: $115,000–$190,000 + uncapped monthly bonus
Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for a full-time opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This attorney will manage a personal injury litigation docket from filing through settlement or trial while working alongside experienced senior trial attorneys and a dedicated legal support team.
The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years of personal injury litigation experience, strong litigation skills, and a desire to gain meaningful courtroom and trial experience.
Key Responsibilities

Manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution.

Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents.

Take and defend depositions involving parties, witnesses, experts, and treating physicians.

Develop liability, coverage, causation, damages, and case valuation strategies.

Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense counsel.

Represent clients at mediations, hearings, and trials.

Maintain a high-volume, trial-ready caseload and meet all deadlines.

Direct litigation paralegals and collaborate with legal support teams.

Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients.
Required Qualifications

JD and active Texas Bar license in good standing.

3–8 years of legal experience, including 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience.

Strong knowledge of Texas civil procedure and evidence.

Experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.

Strong communication, organization, and client-service skills.

Ability to work 100% onsite in Fort Worth, TX.
Preferred Qualifications
-
First- or second-chair trial experience.

Motor vehicle, commercial trucking, or premises liability experience.

Knowledge of medical records, injury causation, and damages.

Spanish-speaking capabilities are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
$115,000–$190,000 base salary plus uncapped monthly bonuses, 100% employer-paid employee health insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, paid holidays, life insurance, optional dental and vision, paid Bar dues and CLE, and mentorship from experienced trial attorneys.
