Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Parts Planning and Demand Analyst for our client in Carrolton, TX (onsite).

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for maintaining stock in the warehouse and technician’s inventory, operating within cost restraints and supplier’s lead time. Manages demand and supply plans. Releases order requisitions as required. Issues replenishments for field and repair center. Analyzes trends and risks to supply.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Updates demand and supply plans for the warehouse and adjusts statistical planning methods.
  • Manages stock level planning field service technicians, reviews, and approves overrides, fine-tunes parameters to drive first-time fix performance
  • Coordinates standard replenishment for field and bench technicians
  • Plans workload for repair center, releases work orders depending on supply plan, manages repair center supply planning parameters
  • Extracts data to build weekly stock status reports
  • Detects and reports stock-out and excess inventory positions, expedites goods
  • Generates PO requisitions to fulfill stocking requirements, completes emergency sourcing with established vendors
  • Generates and tracks repair center work orders
  • Completes data maintenance to drive demand and supply plans
  • Maintains vendor promise dates
  • Confer with department managers or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes

 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s degree in logistics, business administration, or supply chain experience preferred and three years of experience in Supply Chain or equivalent combination of education and experience.            
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Strong sense of urgency to fulfill part requirements in a field service organization
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods
  • Preferred inventory planning experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to interact effectively primarily on the phone with stakeholders including field technicians, managers, customers, or employees of the organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to learn company ERP software application (Oracle JDE 9.2)
  • Advanced MS Excel experience and knowledge
  • Data analysis experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Oracle JDE 9.2 is desired.
