Operating Technician
Job Description
UPW Operating Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ Area
Schedule: 12 hours per day. Rotating 3 on / 3 off, then 4 on / 4 off. Repeat. Day and Night shifts available 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am
Pay: $25hr - $40/hr dependant on experience. Night Shift will get 10% premium to the hourly range.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Engineers, the Construction Team, Management, and Clients.
- Utilize quality systems and diagnose process issues related to Reverse Osmosis, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Ultra-Violet Light Oxidation, and other technologies.
- Perform inspections to verify the integrity of the equipment, ensuring a continuous supply of ultrapure water.
- Conduct routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Perform media replacement and flushing activities to achieve final UPW quality specifications.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment effectively.
- Adhere to safe working requirements and comply with Health & Safety regulations on-site at all times.
Qualifications:
- Technical associate degree or equivalent degree/military experience.
- Strong knowledge of continuous processes.
- Relevant experience in System Operations, Maintenance, Service, or a related field.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and strong problem-solving skills.
- Capability to prioritize a busy workload and adapt to rapid changes in work conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Proactive decision-making abilities.
- Hands-on experience with technical systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
