Schedule: Day Shift
Openings: 4
On-Call Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Compensation: $37.00–$73.31 per hour, based on years of experience
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000, based on eligibility
Position Summary
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking experienced and patient-focused Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time day shift opportunities in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care, supporting patient safety throughout surgical procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse with strong clinical judgment, operating room experience, and a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct clinical care to surgical patients on a per-shift basis

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process

Coordinate and integrate patient care in collaboration with physicians, surgical teams, and other clinical staff

Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgical procedures and respond appropriately to changes in status

Deliver nursing care in accordance with patient safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and risk management guidelines

Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to appropriate clinical support staff as needed

Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory and patient care standards

Ensure accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation

Participate in emergency response procedures and fulfill assigned responsibilities during facility emergencies or disaster situations

Maintain knowledge of emergency codes, emergency protocols, and appropriate response procedures

Perform additional duties as assigned in support of patient care and unit operations
Required Qualifications
-
Graduate of a state-approved or accredited school of nursing
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
-
Current CPR certification

Ability to work day shift schedules, including on-call rotations every other weekend and every other holiday

Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative surgical environment
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)

Prior operating room nursing experience in an acute care or surgical setting
