Nursing Clinical Instructor

Location: St. Paul, MN (Onsite)

Pay rate: $80k+/ yr (DOE)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Nursing Clinical Instructor for a client in St. Paul, MN. The primary responsibility will be facilitating the academic program for students completing their clinical rotations at local healthcare sites. In this role, you will guide students in both clinical and lab settings, supporting the development of the next generation of nurses.
Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning in both the clinical and online learning environments.
• Collaborate with Clinical Lead Faculty to ensure clinical courses are properly aligned.
• Provide guidance on professionalism, clinical practice, and research during clinical and lab rotations.
• Work with healthcare partners and support clinical adjunct faculty when needed.
• Stay current with nursing curriculum, policies, and best practices.
• Maintain clinical competence in your area of expertise.
• Perform grading, skills check-offs, lab support, and hold student office hours.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required (or BSN with a commitment to enroll in an MSN program upon hire).
• At least 2 years of successful professional nursing practice with an MSN (or 5 years with a BSN).
• Evidence of teaching or precepting experience is preferred.
• Current RN licensure required (WA RN license is a plus).
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with students, colleagues, and clinical affiliates.
• Ability to create a supportive learning environment for students.
