Job Description
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a New Equipment Account Manager for the West Texas and all of New Mexico territory. The Account Manager may reside anywhere within the territory. The Account Manager is responsible for driving growth in commercial & industrial product line sales. This position will serve in both a business development function and as a liaison between customers and manufacturers.
New Equipment Account Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Travel required. Not a local or shop position.
- Develop relationships with customers throughout New Mexico and Panhandle
- Focus on Firetube, Burner, IWT, HRSG Sales
- Maintain up to date information on opportunities and leads in company CRM
- Manage multiple large opportunities simultaneously
- Generate proposals using CRM software and Microsoft Office programs
- Recommend company involvement in trade shows, lunch and learns, and other networking functions
- Obtain membership in local engineering and mechanical contracting organizations.
- Coordinate bid reviews/due dates
- Set up site visits/job walks ahead of deliveries
- Follow project through delivery to ensure highest customer satisfaction.
- Obtain BRE and Steam Sales Solution Specialist qualifications within 6 months of employment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong organizational skills are a must
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion
- Ability to prioritize and make sound judgements with little to no supervision
