Location: Redmond, WA (Candidates must be based in the Seattle area)
Employment Type: Temporary / ContractÂ
Pay: $30/hr
Travel: 75%–85% domestic travel; onsite in Redmond, WA when not traveling
Number of Openings: 4–6
Project Duration: September 2025 – December 2025
Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking Network AP Installation Technicians to support a large-scale network upgrade project. Technicians will install ceiling-mounted Access Points (APs) across warehouse floors and office spaces, maintain organized inventory, coordinate with other teams, and provide guidance to small installation teams. This is a temporary, fast-paced, hands-on role with significant travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, mounting, and configuration of ceiling-mounted Wi-Fi Access Points (APs).

Maintain accurate inventory and track all AP hardware, mounting kits, cables, and related materials.

Coordinate with other teams regarding AP placement, lift positioning, and installation sequencing.

Provide leadership and guidance to small installation teams.

Report daily progress, issues, or delays to the project manager and technical leads.

Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including awareness of restricted areas, PPE, and forklift zones.

Ensure installations are clean, accurate, and meet project specifications.
Qualifications
Required:

Experience working in warehouse or production environments with strict safety protocols.

Strong organizational skills with experience managing inventory and equipment.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to travel extensively (3–5 days per week) and work onsite when not traveling.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
-
Experience installing or configuring Wi-Fi Access Points (APs).

Familiarity with structured cabling, network drops, and basic connectivity testing.

Basic networking knowledge, including Ethernet connections, PoE switches, and wireless principles.

Comfort using hand tools and basic testing equipment.
Project Details & Benefits

Travel Expenses: Flights, hotel, checked baggage, Uber/Lyft reimbursed by Wheeler Staffing (receipts required).

Per Diem: $100/day reimbursed for meals (receipts required).
