Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Microsoft 365 Solution Engineer to join our client’s team in Metairie, LA. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance for the organization. This is a full-time, onsite position at the client’s corporate headquarters with approximately 15% travel required.
Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft 365 solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

System Monitoring: Maintain the health, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 environments.

Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365-related issues, acting as a subject matter expert.

Collaboration: Partner with IT and business teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Security and Compliance: Implement security policies, manage Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Optimization: Enhance on-premises Microsoft solutions, such as Active Directory and Group Policy, and streamline processes using Microsoft Power Platform tools.

Project Management: Coordinate planning and execution of projects with internal teams and external consultants.

Integration: Connect Microsoft technologies with other commercial tools and platforms.

Hybrid Work Support: Support remote and on-site users while managing Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) and Windows 11 configurations.

Licensing Management: Administer and optimize Microsoft licensing agreements.
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.

Foundational certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA) or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Preferred:

Advanced certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).

Experience with hybrid work environments and cloud migration projects.

Travel: Frequent travel to company or client locations, approximately 15% of the time.

Schedule: Full-time, 100% onsite at corporate HQ in Metairie, LA.
