Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for an onsite position in Chatsworth, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for new graduates and experienced engineers alike, with a salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 per year.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bills of Materials and select equipment, fittings, and hardware per customer requirements while maintaining overall budget.
- Prepare detailed general arrangement drawings for customer review and approval.
- Develop assembly, structural, and fabrication drawings for release to shop and/or outside sub-contractors, following internal engineering and nationally recognized standards.
- Provide support on mechanical design matters and assist in troubleshooting.
- Assist with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manual preparation.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Experience with pump and piping systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Familiarity with structural design calculations and weld symbology.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
