Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Scan checks for deposit and remittance details to PDF
- Update a basic Excel spreadsheet to track activity
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the mailroom
- Ensure mailroom equipment (scanners, postage meters) is operational
- Support occasional administrative tasks as needed
- Follow confidentiality procedures for handling sensitive mail
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in mailroom, admin, or customer service preferred
- Basic Excel proficiency (no advanced skills needed)
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 10 lbs as part of daily duties
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Must be physically fit to perform job tasks efficiently
