Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Range: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Addison, TX 75001
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Position Summary:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support dispatch and operational logistics for sustainability-focused field projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in coordinating resources, scheduling vendor routes, and ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day operations aligned with environmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch and coordinate vendor routes for scheduled projects.

Monitor and adjust daily schedules in real-time for operational efficiency.

Optimize transportation logistics to reduce fuel use and improve sustainability outcomes.

Track material movement for proper recycling, reuse, or disposal.
-
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and field teams to meet project timelines.
-
Document activities including recycling rates, fuel consumption, and material flow.

Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling, resource, or equipment issues.
-
Support execution of client-aligned sustainability and logistics projects.
-
Analyze operational data to identify and implement improvements.
-
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and relevant environmental regulations.

Maintain communication with stakeholders and provide timely updates.

Promote efficiency and sustainability best practices across teams.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Operations, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
-
3–5 years of experience in logistics, operations coordination, dispatch, or sustainability-related roles.

1–2 years of vendor coordination, routing, or scheduling experience preferred.
Skills:
-
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
-
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
-
Familiarity with dispatch or routing tools and Microsoft Office.

Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
-
Ability to adapt to change, prioritize tasks, and handle time-sensitive issues.

Bilingual skills are a plus (not required).

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:

Must be available to work onsite Monday through Friday in Addison, TX (zip 75001).

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Ability to begin work immediately or with minimal notice is preferred.
