Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with clients, referral partners, and local real estate professionals.

Guide borrowers through the loan application process and collect necessary documentation.

Evaluate financial data to determine eligibility and recommend appropriate loan products.

Provide education and support to borrowers throughout the mortgage process.

Coordinate with internal teams including processing and underwriting to ensure smooth closings.

Stay informed on current loan products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

Ensure full compliance with lending laws and internal procedures.
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in mortgage lending, loan origination, or financial services.

Understanding of underwriting guidelines and mortgage loan programs.

Familiarity with loan origination systems and industry technology.

Active or eligible Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license.

Excellent communication and client service skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Knowledge of the Chicago or Chicagoland housing market is essential.
