Location: Lake Washington Area, Seattle, WA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: Last week of August through the end of September
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Laptop Repair Technician to join our team onsite at a school in the Lake Washington area. This role requires hands-on experience with specific laptop models and a strong understanding of both hardware and software troubleshooting. The position is temporary, running from the last week of August through the end of September, with the potential for future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on laptops, specifically Dell 3120, MK12 HP Pro x360 Fortis, and Dell Latitude 3190 models.
- Perform routine maintenance, including upgrades and component replacements such as screens, keyboards, and motherboards.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.
- Ensure all work adheres to company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex technical issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ Certification is required.
- Proven experience with the specified laptop models.
- Strong understanding of laptop hardware components and their functions.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift and move laptops and related equipment as necessary.
Work Environment
- This is an onsite position located in the Lake Washington area.
