Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Representative for a full-time, onsite position in Garland, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while building and maintaining strong customer relationships within the metals industry.
The Inside Sales Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers, managing orders, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and communication.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to maximize profitability.

Communicate order updates, delivery timelines, and project progress to customers.

Collaborate with outside sales and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Track and report on key account metrics such as sales performance, forecasts, and renewal rates.

Prepare regular sales reports and updates for internal review.

Manage challenging customer requests or escalations with professionalism and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

2–3 years of experience in sales (inside or outside sales).

Experience in the metals industry preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of order entry processes and procedures preferred.

Proven ability to build relationships, manage multiple accounts, and meet sales goals.

Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $25 – $28 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, onsite in Garland, TX.
