Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical In-House Appraiser to join our team. The appraiser will be responsible for valuing residential real estate properties and preparing reports to support real estate investment decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and a solid understanding of real estate concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the value of real estate properties to determine their eligibility for loans, ensuring accurate valuation and risk mitigation.
- Analyze real estate properties based on their "as-is" condition and "as-repaired" values, considering renovation costs, market comparisons, and local and regional economic conditions.
- Conduct thorough inspections and comprehensive market analyses to determine property values based on comparable sales, market trends, and other relevant factors.
- Communicate effectively with the sales organization and other internal teams to address inquiries and concerns.
- Perform market analysis to determine both the current value and after-repair value (ARV) of properties, factoring in projected renovation costs and market conditions.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in real estate appraisal required.
- Certified Real Estate Appraiser license is encouraged, or a willingness to complete relevant classes.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in valuation assessments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
