Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring an Imaging Services Supervisor in Turlock, California. This position oversees daily operations of the Radiology Department, with a strong focus on Mammography (Mammo) operations. The Supervisor ensures optimal workflow, staffing, and quality of patient care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of Imaging Services staff, including technologists, support staff, and front office personnel.

Provide leadership for mammography operations, ensuring adherence to MQSA and ACR guidelines.

Plan, organize, and evaluate departmental workflows, staffing, and performance improvement initiatives.

Participate in hiring, training, and orienting new employees; assist with disciplinary actions when needed.

Monitor staff performance, delegate tasks based on skills and priorities, and foster a professional, supportive work environment.

Act as the primary decision-maker in the absence of the Imaging Services Manager.

Ensure all imaging procedures are performed in compliance with regulatory standards including The Joint Commission, CMS, and California Department of Public Health.

Maintain quality assurance and quality control processes for all imaging modalities, especially mammography.

Oversee PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and digital imaging systems.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology required.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
Experience:
-
Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
-
At least one (1) year of Mammography Modality experience required.

Supervisory experience in imaging preferred.
Licenses / Certifications:
-
Current California Radiologic Technologist license (CRT).
-
ARRT certification and registration in Radiography (RT) and Mammography (M).
-
Current BLS certification.
-
Venipuncture certification if applicable.
Skills & Abilities:
-
Strong working knowledge of mammography protocols, QA/QC processes, and MQSA/ACR standards.

Proficiency with digital imaging systems and PACS.

Excellent communication and computer skills.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
