Job Description
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a remote IT Business Analyst in Irving, TX. The IT Business Systems Analyst partners with business leadership to understand and clearly define their challenges and opportunities, and to recommend technology solutions that address them. Acts as a liaison between the various internal and external stakeholders, and service providers, to drive change and implement technology solutions.

IT Business Analyst Job Responsibilities:
- Gathers business requirements; produces system designs and technical specifications; configures software; designs data conversions, integrations, reports, and enhancements; tests technology solutions; trains key stakeholders such as support personnel, system administrators, and end users; maintains and supports business software
- Develops and maintains a detailed understanding of:
- how application software has been configured and integrated to support business needs
- database structures, data use, process inputs and outputs for his/her responsible functions
- Acts as project manager and subject matter expert for technology projects within his/her portfolio
- Communicates with application users to address incidents, fulfill requests, administer changes and resolve problems, as per established technology policies and best practices
- Provides timely production support by meeting SLA’s
- Escalate issues to management when appropriate
- Mentoring and educating other team members
- Assist IT management and end-users to determine feasibility of potential systems projects
- Willingness to learn the user role/security administration functions of newer technologies brought in to the applications portfolio
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of ERP systems: UKG, Ajera, JDE
- 4 - 6 years supporting business applications within IT organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Work under general direction
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience using MS Office, Visio, and Project
- Knowledge of SQL
- Project Management Experience
- Knowledge of SharePoint administration, digital document management
- Knowledge of Engineering applications – Revit, Autocad, Autodesk
- Must be willing to travel (~20%)
