Employment Type: Contract
Contract Duration: Starting end of next week (~November 20th) until the end of January
Pay Rate: $32-45/hr
Location: Dallas, TX 75234
Work Arrangement: Hybrid; 2 days onsite highly preferred, may consider 1 day in office for a strong candidate
Position Overview:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a dynamic Temporary HR & Recruiting Specialist with at least 5 years of experience in Human Resources and recruiting functions. This role blends HR responsibilities with recruitment tasks to support the team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing diverse HR tasks while effectively attracting talent. A bachelor’s degree is required, and candidates must be available to work onsite at least twice per week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in full-cycle recruitment for various positions, including sourcing, interviewing, coordinating offers, and onboarding.
- Support HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, policy adherence, and compliance tasks.
- Maintain and manage HR documentation and ensure confidential, organized employee records.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to promote consistent and fair practices.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
- Facilitate employee orientation and training sessions as needed.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR and recruiting experience.
- Availability to work onsite at least twice per week.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
- Experience in a fast-paced or temporary staffing environment is preferred.
