Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Hospice Scheduler to join our healthcare client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling hospice services for patients in accordance with their needs and preferences. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers. The Hospice Scheduler plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate care, contributing to the overall quality of hospice services provided.

Norwood, MA - Onsite
Hospice Scheduler Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling of Hospice Aide (HA) visits in collaboration with the Team Director (TD) and Registered Nurse (RN) supervisors to ensure compliance with patient care plans and organizational staffing requirements.
- Exercise discretion in assigning patient care tasks within the guidelines of the Hospice Plan of Care and visit schedules established in conjunction with the TD and Director-Clinical Operations (DCO).
- Manage the ordering and distribution of medical supplies to Hospice Aides.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the medical supply storage area.
- Certification as a Nurse’s Aide or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state(s) of practice.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification preferred.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions.
- Possession of a reliable automobile, valid driver’s license, and minimum state-required liability auto insurance.
- Demonstrated maturity and ability to handle the demands of the position effectively.
- Compassionate attitude towards caring for the sick.
