Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Worcester, MA
Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts
Pay Range:

Worcester: $34-$70/hr based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: Yes (paid over 2 years)
On-Call Requirement: Yes
Shift Differential: Yes
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a highly regarded healthcare facility in Worcester, MA and. This role involves delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses. As a Med/Surg RN, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on achieving positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.

Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition with sound clinical judgment.

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals.

Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.

Delegate and supervise tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.

Uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
-
BLS certification (required)
-
ACLS certification (preferred or obtained within designated timeframe)
Experience:
-
Previous experience in a medical-surgical unit or acute care setting strongly preferred
Additional Information:

On-call responsibilities include every other weekend and alternating holidays
