Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Worcester, MA and Framingham, MA

- Framingham: $36-$73/hr based on experience
- Worcester: $34-$70/hr based on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a highly regarded healthcare facility in Worcester, MA and Framingham, MA. This role involves delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses. As a Med/Surg RN, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on achieving positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition with sound clinical judgment.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Delegate and supervise tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
- Uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety practices.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred or obtained within designated timeframe)
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical unit or acute care setting strongly preferred
- On-call responsibilities include every other weekend and alternating holidays
- Free on-site parking available
- Pre-employment process includes background check, drug screening, and health screening
- COVID-19 vaccination required in accordance with applicable law; exemptions with regular testing permitted
