Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Location: Modesto, Manteca, Turlock, and San Ramon, California
Employment Type: Full-Time | Multiple Openings (8)
Compensation: $41.00–$57.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus:Â Generous sign on bonus available and paid out over time
Relocation Assistance: Available, based on candidate location and distance
Shifts: All shifts available (Day, Evening, Night, and Weekends)
Call: May vary by department
Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring Radiologic Technologists for multiple facilities across California. In this role, you will perform diagnostic X-ray imaging for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients. You’ll position patients, operate imaging equipment, ensure radiation safety, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with departmental and state standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technologists or new graduates with California licensure to join a collaborative imaging team committed to quality care and professional growth.

Experience:
Experience in general radiography, fluoroscopy, or portable X-ray preferred
New graduates with valid California license encouraged to apply
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of conventional radiology and PACS
Competency in at least one additional area such as CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology preferred
Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.

Ensure patient safety through proper radiation protection techniques.

Operate imaging equipment and PACS systems effectively and accurately.

Prepare examination rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications as required.

Educate patients about procedures and ensure comfort throughout the process.

Maintain accurate patient and imaging records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with other technologists, radiologists, and healthcare professionals to support departmental goals.

May be required to take on-call assignments as needed.
Qualifications

Required Certifications:

ARRT (R) certification
-
California CRT and Fluoroscopy License

BLS certification (AHA)
Experience:
