Responsibilities

Perform all general radiologic and mammography procedures according to department protocols and safety standards.

Conduct screening and diagnostic mammograms, assist with needle localization, and ensure accurate imaging documentation.

Maintain mammography quality control in compliance with ACR, MQSA, and facility standards.

Prepare and position patients for imaging while maintaining patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.

Operate radiographic and mammographic equipment safely and effectively.

Follow aseptic technique and infection control procedures.

Document all patient and imaging information accurately in the PACS and EMR systems.

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and precise diagnostic results.

Participate in departmental performance improvement and quality assurance activities.
Required Qualifications
-
Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology (college-affiliated or hospital-based program).

California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license (required).
-
California Fluoroscopy Permit (required).
-
California Mammography Certification (required).
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (required by start date).

Minimum of 3 years of continuous experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including mammography.

Proficiency in imaging software and digital systems (PACS, RIS, EMR).

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.

Prior experience in hospital or acute care imaging environment preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly rate: $35.00 – $48.11/hour (based on experience and qualifications).
