Job Summary
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Physical Therapist in Harlingen, TX to provide direct patient care and develop individualized treatment programs. The Physical Therapist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to evaluate, plan, and implement patient-specific therapy programs aimed at restoring and improving functional mobility.
This role requires responding to physician orders, performing assessments and re-assessments, and adjusting treatment plans based on patient progress and goals. The Physical Therapist will develop functional goals aligned with patient and family expectations to maximize independence and overall well-being.

Job Summary
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Physical Therapist in Harlingen, TX to provide direct patient care and develop individualized treatment programs. Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.

Administer and interpret tests and measurements to assess patient condition and progress.

Review patient charts and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Develop functional goals in collaboration with patients and families.

Provide hands-on care to improve, restore, and maintain patient mobility and independence.

Seek clarification on physician orders when necessary.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
Education:

Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy

Preferred: Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Experience:

Preferred: 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in a healthcare setting
Certifications:

Required: State Licensure as a Physical Therapist

Required: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
