Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray/CT/MRI)
Location: Detroit, MI
Shifts: Day & Night Shifts Available
Pay Rate: $29 – $42/hr (Depending on Experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 (Based on Relevant Experience)
On-Call: Yes
Shift Differential: Yes

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Radiologic Technologists to join a leading specialty referral hospital in Detroit, MI. Renowned for clinical excellence and innovative research, this facility has earned national recognition across multiple Centers of Excellence, including neurosciences, cardiovascular services, stroke prevention, bariatric surgery, and more.
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and compassion, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety while working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, or MRI) following physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams; explain procedures, address questions, and obtain informed consent when necessary.
  • Verify patient identity and evaluate medical history to confirm exam appropriateness and identify risk factors (e.g., pregnancy, medications, implants).
  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment efficiently, positioning patients correctly to obtain high-quality images.
  • Review images for quality assurance, make initial observations, and communicate critical findings to the radiologist as needed.
  • Recognize and respond to emergent medical situations appropriately.
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain complete, timely patient records.
  • Contribute to departmental performance improvement initiatives, including quality assurance, patient satisfaction, and workflow optimization.
  • Educate and mentor students, residents, or newly hired technologists as assigned.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department.

Qualifications:
  • Certification:
    • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R), CT, or MRI.
    • ARMRIT certification also accepted for MRI technologists.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): Must hold current AHA BLS Certification or obtain prior to end of orientation.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience preferred in radiology or advanced imaging modalities (CT or MRI).
  • Skills: Strong technical proficiency, patient interaction skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
