Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Finance/Treasury Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a client in Tampa, FL. This hybrid role (3 days in office/week) supports the treasury team and is ideal for an experienced finance or accounting professional with a background in real estate, mortgage banking, or asset management.

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Tampa, Florida
Salary: Approx. $85,000 + Bonus: Discretionary, performance-based
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days in office, with flexibility to work 5 days in office if needed)
- Parking: $150/month (if not using street parking)
About the Role
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Finance/Treasury Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a client in Tampa, FL. This hybrid role (3 days in office/week) supports the treasury team and is ideal for an experienced finance or accounting professional with a background in real estate, mortgage banking, or asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare settlement statements and trade documents for individual loan trades
- Coordinate funding activities and validate data with debt providers
- Manage revolving securitization concentration limits and cash positions
- Track loan performance activities including draws, repayments, write-offs, and adjustments
- Reconcile to loan-level trial balances and servicing reports
- Onboard loans to the servicing platform and maintain data accuracy across systems
- Calculate and reconcile accrued interest
- Validate third-party loan activity records for accuracy
- Analyze raw data and correct discrepancies with third-party providers
- Conduct ad hoc analysis over transaction history, forecasts, and other financial metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Treasury, Accounting, or Finance
- Prior experience in real estate, mortgage banking, accounting, or asset management
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data reconciliation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to work onsite as required by business needs
- Must pass background and credit checks
