Location: Little Rock, AR
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Full-Time | 100% Onsite (Hybrid flexibility TBD)

Pay:
• PE I – 3+ years of experience / $90k–$118k
• PE II – 7+ years of experience / $118k–$136k
• PE III – 10+ years of experience / $136k–$156k
Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking Electrical Engineers (PE) to join a growing engineering team in Little Rock, Arkansas.
This role is responsible for developing and executing electrical engineering designs and technical solutions across complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has experience in medium voltage power distribution, generator systems, and large-scale facility design, with exposure to healthcare, higher education, or central energy plant (CEP) environments.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Design & Analysis
- Develop, analyze, and evaluate electrical systems and design solutions
- Design medium voltage protection systems and power distribution infrastructure
- Support design of paralleled generator systems (medium to low voltage)
- Apply engineering principles, codes, and standards to all projects
Project Execution
- Create and review technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications using Revit
- Participate in field visits and site evaluations as needed
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
Technical Leadership
- Serve as a technical resource within project teams
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all designs align with National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable regulations
- Maintain documentation and support engineering studies and reports
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
Experience
- 3+ years of electrical engineering and design experience
- Experience with healthcare, higher education, or Central Energy Plant (CEP) projects preferred
- Hands-on experience with medium voltage power distribution and generator systems
Certifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
- Electrical PE preferred; Mechanical PE considered
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
