Job Description
Wheeler Staffing Partners is actively searching for a Director of Data Analytics role and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data analytics, from data collection and processing to analysis and reporting. Additionally, this position will also facilitate reporting and analytics capabilities throughout the organization. The optimal candidate brings a business-centric mindset to data analysis efforts and has a track record of being a growth enabler.
Location: Irving, Texas (Onsite Monday - Friday)

Job Responsibilities:
- Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.
- Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems.
- Identify, Analyze, and Interpret patterns and trends in data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and correction.
- Develop data quality monitoring practice scope and capabilities, and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision-making.
- Assist in the design of processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
- Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
- Demonstrated understanding of data warehouse architecture and modeling principles.
- Building Power BI reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to improve data models that feed Power BI and increase data accessibility.
- Actively seek out and generate new and innovative ways to retrieve, visualize and analyze data across a variety of operational, geological, and financial data sources
- Working with data engineers and various business users to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system modifications.
- Lead business requirement sessions with stakeholders eliciting clear and comprehensive requirements for system features and enhancements.
- Take lead in Data Cataloging, Lineage, Security and Controls for entire data marketplace.
- Develop and execute SQL scripts to test data conversions and perform ad-hoc analysis.
- Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
- Gain Domain Knowledge and conduct end user training.
- Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
- Identify, address and document areas for process improvement and automation in our data flows.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of data analysis experience and strong experience writing complex queries.
- 4+ years of data management experience
- 3+ years of experience in Azure environment.
- 2+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Governance
- Must have experience with relational design database design, including creating, modifying tables, views and indexes, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Experience in gathering data/reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
- Adept at queries, building reports, and making presentations.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both business and technical terms.
- Must be comfortable delivering on multiple priorities concurrently.
- Understand software development life cycle.
- Must be proactive, flexible and exhibit the ability to learn quickly.
- A keen eye to identify problems, ideate potential solutions, and ultimately resolve problems.
