Location: Wenatchee, WA & Quincy, WA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract (16 Months)
Pay: $25-$28/hr
Project Duration: May 2026 – August 2027

Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking experienced Data Center Network Technicians to support a large-scale infrastructure deployment project in Wenatchee and Quincy, Washington.
This is a hands-on role focused on server and network hardware installation, structured cabling, and documentation within a data center environment. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite full-time and commuting between both data center locations.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Deployment
- Perform rack and stack of servers, switches, and network hardware
- Install and manage structured cabling, including copper (Cat5/6) and fiber (LC, SC)
- Execute server and switch connections, labeling, and basic testing
Cabling & Connectivity
- Route, terminate, and secure copper and fiber cabling according to standards
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of all cabling infrastructure
Documentation & Asset Management
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and changes
- Track and manage IT assets, inventory, and equipment within the data center
Operational Support
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and best practices
- Collaborate with network engineers, project managers, and onsite teams
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in data center or network infrastructure environments
- Hands-on experience with rack and stack deployments
- Experience with copper and fiber cabling installation and management
Technical Skills
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and installation guides
- Strong attention to detail with labeling, documentation, and asset tracking
Work Requirements
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Wenatchee and Quincy, WA
- Must be able to commute between both data center locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale data center builds or migrations
- Familiarity with asset management tools or DCIM systems
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (switches, patch panels, etc.)
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, BICSI, or similar
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $25 – $28/hour
- Schedule: Full-time, onsite
- Long-term project with consistent hours
Important Requirements
- Candidates will not operate lifts or heavy equipment (including scissor lifts or boom lifts)
- Must adhere to all site safety guidelines and operational protocols
