Location: Appleton, WI
Schedule: Monday – Friday, varied start times between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends | No holidays
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team at a busy Pain and GI-focused Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The CST will play a critical role in supporting surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, ensuring equipment is properly sterilized, assisting physicians during surgery, and maintaining a sterile environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment—with no weekends and a Monday-Friday schedule offering work-life balance.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team at a busy Pain and GI-focused Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The CST will play a critical role in supporting surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, ensuring equipment is properly sterilized, assisting physicians during surgery, and maintaining a sterile environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment—with no weekends and a Monday-Friday schedule offering work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, drapes, and sterile solutions.
- Assist physicians throughout surgical procedures by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile field.
- Rotate between multiple physicians and procedures, adapting to different surgical styles and specialties (Pain Management and GI Endoscopy).
- Perform sterile processing duties as needed in a small, well-maintained sterile processing area.
- Maintain accurate documentation: paper charting for Pain and Eye procedures, electronic documentation for GI procedures.
- Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
- Collaborate closely with nursing, anesthesia, and surgical teams to ensure smooth case flow and quality patient care.
- Assist with turnover and cleaning of surgical suites between cases.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of surgical tech experience preferred; experience in outpatient/ASC or specialty in Pain and GI a plus.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to rotating physician assignments and varied start times.
