Total Compensation: $400,000–$450,000 (cash + equity, based on experience)

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Securitization Principal, Residential Mortgage for a highly visible, strategic role with a growing mortgage and capital markets platform. Based in Tampa, FL, this position is ideal for an experienced professional with deep knowledge of securitization, whole loan trading, and residential mortgage products including Non-QM, DSCR, SFR, Bridge, and business-purpose loans.

Key Responsibilities
-
Lead securitization efforts across various residential mortgage asset classes
-
Manage full deal lifecycle: kickoff, documentation, due diligence, and settlements
-
Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external parties including investment banks, trustees, law firms, custodians, and rating agencies
-
Oversee whole loan trade execution for both acquisitions and sales

Manage loan file prep, collateral validation, and data tape management
-
Build and maintain relationships with key capital markets partners

Leverage technology (Excel/VBA) to streamline execution and reporting workflows
Qualifications
-
8+ years of hands-on securitization and capital markets experience
-
Deep familiarity with Non-QM, DSCR, SFR, Bridge, and business-purpose residential loans
-
Prior experience in a loan aggregator or capital markets platform strongly preferred
-
Advanced proficiency in Excel and VBA
-
Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and loan-level due diligence
-
Exceptional project management and communication skills

Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)
