Job Description
CT TechnologistÂ
Pay: $24.26–$36.39 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: up to $15,000
Location: Memphis, TN
Shifts Available:
- Weekend Nights: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Evenings: 8-hour shifts, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologists to join our imaging teams. In this role, you will perform diagnostic procedures utilizing advanced radiation detection and imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality care for patients of all ages, from newborn to elderly. You will also collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain safe, efficient, and accurate diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images and send studies to the radiologist's reading station for review.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all procedures, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, providing clear instructions and addressing patient concerns to ensure comfort.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting as needed to minimize downtime.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and provide necessary assistance.
- Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
- Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in CT imaging.
- Required:
- ARRT (R) certification and documentation of CT training and experience.
- Must obtain CT Registry within one year of hire.
- Current BLS certification.
- State license (if applicable).
