Position Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for the daily leadership and operation of a warehouse branch location. This role is approximately 65% warehouse operations and 35% team leadership. The Branch Manager will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, staff management, and general facility operations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong warehouse experience and supervisory skills.

Position Summary:

The Branch Manager will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, staff management, and general facility operations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong warehouse experience and supervisory skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations (65%)

Oversee daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving of 140–150 items per day
-
Maintain accurate inventory records; perform physical counts as needed
-
Ensure warehouse is clean, safe, and compliant with OSHA and local safety regulations

Operate or oversee operation of material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)

Monitor systems and ensure process efficiency

Maintain all equipment, racking, and building systems
Team Leadership (35%)

Supervise and support two direct reports

Lead hiring, scheduling, performance management, and training

Ensure team accountability and performance standards are met

Foster a team-oriented, high-productivity work culture

Act as a hands-on leader who works alongside team when needed
Required Qualifications:
-
Minimum 4 years of warehouse experience
-
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-
Experience working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
-
Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
-
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)

Prior use of Latitude system preferred

Experience managing a warehouse branch or retail distribution center
