The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch. Branch Manager Responsibilities:
- Directs the activities of the branch location from the back end to the front end of the operation, optimizing service levels and managing branch P&L
- Develop and implement business plans to include operational and sales forecasts along with financial objectives for the branch
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory, perform physical branch inventories as needed
- Assist in the development and maintenance of qualified staff within defined headcount parameters.
- Assist in the development of standards of performance as a basis of review. Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivity
- Assist in the development and maintenance of company safety policies
- Ensure all work required (including discrepancy processing) is completed efficiently, accurately and timely, including but not limited to receiving, restocking, picking, shipping, returns, inventory management etc
- Manage day to day work, processes, payroll, attendance, time off, evaluations, discipline, hiring decisions, providing training, coaching, development and motivation to improve the branch performance.
- Special projects as assigned by management
- Minimum 3 years of prior managerial/supervisory experience required; 5 years preferred
- Minimum 4 years customer service experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform in stressful and demanding environment
- Ability to motivate, lead, and develop staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook)
