Bilingual Outside Sales Representative, Food & Beverage

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Office Location:  Austin, TX 78758
Position Type: Hybrid Role - Field Sales and In-Office (Not a work-from-home role)
Salary: $55k-$65k, negotiable based on experience.
On Target Earnings (OTE): $80k-$100k.
Mileage Reimbursement: Yes (potential for a company car later)
Cell Phone Reimbursement: Yes

Job Description:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a dynamic and motivated Bilingual Outside Sales Representative to join our client’s team. This role involves managing field sales within a designated territory in Austin and participating in in-office activities to foster strong team integration. The position requires proactive client outreach, territory management, and account relationship building, particularly within the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Sales and Territory Management:
    • Develop and manage a sales territory within the Austin area.
    • Conduct 70% cold calls and 30% account management.
    • Call on small to mid-size businesses, specifically targeting restaurants and decision-makers (e.g., chefs, business owners, general managers).

 

  • Account Management:
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering opportunities for growth.
    • Address client issues and manage invoicing and collections.

 

  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Regularly visit the office for check-ins and coordination with the branch.


Job Requirements:
 

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year in the food and beverage industry required.
    • Sales experience preferred, but candidates with industry knowledge interested in transitioning into sales are welcome.
    • Proven ability to build relationships and maintain successful client interactions.

 

  • Education:
    • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

  • Skills:
    • Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of managing territory independently.

 

  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must have a personal vehicle (no shared or alternative modes of transportation).
    • Must be willing to travel within the Austin area and occasionally to other cities for training (company-covered travel).
    • Driving record will be checked (DWI/DUI offenses matter).
    • Background check and drug screen (no THC) required.
