Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Bankruptcy Coordinator II in Dallas, TX. The ideal professional candidate is looking for a dynamic career in creditor bankruptcy. The Bankruptcy Coordinator II will monitor bankruptcy accounts in assigned portfolio of loans to ensure appropriate legal action is administered to comply with client and bankruptcy rules and regulations. They will also handle special monitoring bankruptcy work queues and case specific mail/correspondence. The candidate will work alongside a team of professionals dedicated to exceeding expectations and customer satisfaction.

Bankruptcy Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist local counsel in the filing of Motion for Reliefs, Agreed Orders, Objections, and similar legal actions for Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy cases 
  • Maintain ownership of assigned files to ensure timely response by local counsel to meet client and internal expectations
  • Contact third parties such as courts, trustees, debtor’s attorneys, or clients for payment issue clarification, and resolution
  • Review court docket and case information via electronic case monitoring to promptly determine when attorney action is required and refer to local counsel as necessary
  • Respond to routine inquiries from clients, attorneys, vendors, and internal departments regarding files assigned
  • Review, analyze, and take appropriate action on all mail relevant to client and assigned files
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Bankruptcy Coordinator Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider a high school diploma/GED with proven experience 
  • 2+ years of managing a caseload in a high production work environment 
  • Must be willing to train onsite with potential of hybrid schedule after (2 days in office)
  • Thorough understanding of escrow, suspense, and mortgage concepts
  • Effective organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow in a high-volume production environment
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
